Learn More About Our Surrogacy Program

Taking the First Step
We understand that the surrogacy process can seem daunting, and taking the first step can be difficult. We will be happy to chat with you on the phone to discuss our services in detail or can answer your general questions via email.

Meet With Us
After completing a brief intended parent questionnaire, the next step is for you to meet the team at Family Formation. It’s important that you are comfortable and at ease with whoever you choose to work with.  The meeting is a good opportunity for you to see who we are and how we work. It’s also a good opportunity for us to learn more about you and your expectations moving forwards.

Reviewing Surrogate Profiles
We are experts at matching intended parents with a surrogate who will not only meet your requirements, but will be a good fit in terms of personality and philosophies. A connection from the beginning is crucial to developing a good relationship with your surrogate. Time spent in the matching phase always serves you well further down the road.

Medical Screening and Contract Phase
Once you are successfully matched with your surrogate, she will attend your fertility center for medical screening. This typically involves blood testing as well as a uterine ultrasound. Once medical clearance is granted, our attorneys will draft a custom contract between you and your surrogate. The contract is reviewed and agreed by all parties and once legal clearance is in place, your surrogate will begin the IVF process.

Managing the Process
We will liaise closely with you, your fertility center and your surrogate throughout the entire process, coordinating appointments and closely managing all other aspects of the relationship. We take pride in our attention to detail and strive to offer a personalized service that allows you to enjoy the journey through pregnancy to delivery.
