Our Gestational Carrier Program is flexible and designed to meet your needs and desires.  Usually direct contact between Intended Parents and Gestational Carriers ranges from one meeting to ongoing associations.

Our staff is comprised of experienced, knowledgeable, and competent attorneys and administrators.  We will work with your physician or with our network of reputable and experienced medical professionals and counselors to ensure the best possible service.  We have years of success in using the surrogacy process to create new families, and have often been called upon to serve as expert witnesses.

Accessibility:

Our staff will keep you up to date.  Copies of documents will regularly be sent to you and we will return all phone calls in a timely manner.  We are available for emergencies during non-office hours.  There will always be staff members on hand to answer your specific questions and concerns.

At Family Formation, a major aspect of our service involves the careful screening and identification of Gestational Carriers. We consult with reputable and experienced mental health and medical specialists in effort to work with the most dependable and healthy Donors and Gestational Carriers.

Our Gestational Carrier Program includes:

• Providing Gestational Carrier candidates who have been psychologically screened

• Negotiating the Gestational Carrier contract terms

• Drafting the Gestational Carrier Contract

• Ongoing coordination with the medical facility of your choice

• Securing health insurance for the Gestational Carrier, if possible

• Administering the contract

• Handling the escrow account

• Performing court work necessary to adjudicate parental rights

All of our Gestational Carriers reside in California, so we are able to utilize California as the forum state. This allows us to benefit from favorable laws concerning who may be declared the parents of the child and enforceabilty of Gestational Carrier contracts.
